I’m sure that everyone says this, but I really remember my time at university as being great.
When I arrived in 1978, Bath was becoming a hot place to come to study. Not only was the University becoming better known, through its teaching and research, but the city itself was being rediscovered.
You walked down the high street and the shops were the same as in London. Bath was the place to be. This was the start of the Bath boom years.
It was a young, vibrant university and gave me all the opportunities I needed to get where I am today.
