- Select the IMAP Sent Folder
- Select Mailbox from menu at the top
- Select Use This Mailbox For
- Select Sent

Setting preferences
- From the Mail menu select Preferences

- Select the University of Bath IMAP account, and then the Account Information tab

- Click the 'Server Settings...' button and change the 'Server Port' from 25 to 587

- Click OK, then the Mailbox Behaviors tab
- Tick the 'Store sent messages on the server' option
- Make sure 'Permanently erase deleted messages:' option is Never, unless you really do wish them to be automatically deleted each week
- Save the changes when asked
