Synopsis: Develop strategic thinking, analysis and judgement within an international context. You will explore how to develop and apply corporate strategy in the face of opportunities and threats in a dynamic, unpredictable and rapidly changing global environment. You will learn to apply concepts, models and frameworks to analyze international strategy.

Content: The unit explores how businesses develop their international business strategy in the context of external forces and resources and capabilities, in order to create sustainable competitive advantage in global markets. Topics covered include cross-border internationalisation entry and process, international strategic choices, control and coordination of value-chain activities across borders. Issues are explored in a range of industries and geographical markets.
