Synopsis: You will explore the main issues in (international) politics from a UK perspective. Youll examine Westminster politics, elections, and sub-state nationalism. You will deal with issues such as race, gender, and climate and how the UK compares internationally. You will also locate Britains place in the world from its membership of international institutions such as NATO and the UN, to its relationship with Europe, the United States and the legacy of Empire and colonialism.
