The Directors of Studies Forums were created, following the report of the Teaching Efficiencies Working Group, with a view to ‘encouraging the sharing of practice and creating more effective channels of communications’.

Directors of Studies Induction

There are two forums:

Directors of Studies (Taught) Forum

All meetings of this Forum are held in the Wessex House Council Chamber and are scheduled for a maximum of two hours starting at 12.15 p.m. (unless otherwise stated).

Planning Group

There is a Planning Group which leads on drawing up agenda items and the draft programme for the annual Away Day. The current members are:

Each year we hold an away day for Directors of Studies. For this academic year it has been scheduled for:

The away day will be held at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, 16 - 18 Queens Square, Bath, BA1 2HN.

Directors of Studies (Research Programmes) Forum

We created the Directors of Studies (Research Programmes) Forum to:

'encourage the sharing of practice and create more effective channels of communications.'

We view this Forum as a valuable source of ideas, feedback and identification of solutions and encourage regular attendance by members.
