Induction and support from the department

To ensure you are best supported in your role, your department will provide initial and ongoing induction activity. Annual Reports

An Annual Report template for taught courses is used to submit reports to the University. If you require copies of reports from previous years, please approach the departmental contact noted in your appointment letter.

External Examiners and External Assessors for apprenticeship courses should use the Annual Report Templates available from QA12(A).

All annual reports and department responses are made available to students and student apprentices on request. They are also shared at Staff Student Liaison Committees (SSLC).

Fees and Expenses

Fees

Departments arrange payment of fees on receipt of your annual report.

Making an expenses claim

Details of how to make a claim are available from the department contact noted in your appointment letter.

Finance and Procurement provide an External Examiner Expenses Claim Form for UG (First) Degrees and PG (Higher) Degrees.
