This training workshop is available to all staff members and postgraduates. You'll learn how to navigate and customise Windows 10 and use the Edge web browser.

Wiki - Collaborate with your team

This training course is available for all members of staff. You'll learn how to maintain spaces on the wiki, edit pages and profiles, and use macros.

Accredited training

We offer accredited training for staff to gain a qualification in anything from basic computer use to advanced software expertise.



Productivity software training

We offer training in using Endnote, Project and MindGenius to help you increase your productivity.


MindGenius - Create a mind map

This training course is available to all staff and postgraduate students. You'll learn how to use MindGenius to organise your thoughts, lectures or meetings.

About our staff and postgraduate student training

Staff courses are provided at no charge. Postgraduate students can attend our sessions for a fee of £5 (1.5 hours) or £10 (2 or more hours); ask your supervisor if you can claim for this. You can also attend courses run through the SU Skills Training programme. Research Postgraduate students can attend IT skills courses run through the Doctoral Skills scheme.
