Alice takes over a high performing and hugely successful service from Anthony, who has led the service with distinction for eight years. I want to express my sincere thanks to Anthony for his leadership and dedication and we are delighted he will be staying on at the University to continue his contribution to enhancing the student experience at Bath.”

Alice Ludgate said: “I’m delighted to be joining the University of Bath as Director of Student Support and Safeguarding this May. Bath is an exciting university with an enviable international reach, and I’ve been impressed by all the staff I had the pleasure of meeting through the selection process. I’m looking forward to advancing our approach to student support in this new directorate, and continuing Bath’s reputation for an excellent student experience.”
