We are pleased to announce that the Department of Social and Policy Sciences at the University of Bath has funding to support new applicants on our part-time, distance-learning master’s course.
The MSc in Public Policy offers you the opportunity to delve into how public policy is made, what shapes it, and how policymakers can make a difference. It explores the political, economic and social dynamics and forces that influence contemporary public policy issues, and will enable you to think creatively about public policy design and delivery, and your role within it.
The value of the scholarship is £4,000. This will be applied as a discount on your tuition fees (for 2019/20 this is £5,300 per year). There are two scholarships available.
You can apply for this funding if you have received an offer to study MSc Public Policy for 2019/20.
To apply for this scholarship, you must have a high academic achievement; the equivalent of a 1st Honours degree or, exceptionally, a high 2:1 degree.
Among qualified candidates, preference will be given to applicants who:
- are currently resident in, and national of, a low-income country as defined by the Department for International Development (DFID),
- hold one of the eligible immigration statuses as set out on the Sanctuary Scholarship scheme.
You must submit no more than 500 words in a Word document detailing why you think you should be considered. You should base this on previous academic achievements and/or relevant experience.
You can only apply for the scholarship after you have received an offer to study.
The deadline for scholarship submissions is 17:00 (BST) on Friday 7 June 2019.
