There are a number of ways you can turn your physical event into a virtual one using the capability of Microsoft Teams meetings and Teams Live events.

To get you started, try reading our Microsoft Learning Pathway, Evolving your physical events and meetings into a virtual format. This will allow you to start thinking about which of the formats might be suitable for your event or meeting.

Microsoft Teams meetings

Microsoft Teams meetings are the perfect solution if you are looking to interact with your attendees. There are many features that can help you create an engaging and interactive event or meeting, such as:

  • Breakout rooms to encourage group work in smaller numbers and focussed discussion
  • Share ideas on the interactive whiteboard
  • Create user polls to gain real-time feedback and insight into the experiences of your attendees.

You can discover more information on how to do this and the benefits for you on our University of Bath Learning Pathway, Arrange and run virtual events using Teams

Teams Live events

If you wish your event or meeting to be more passive, so your attendees can watch and learn, you may prefer a Teams Live event. You can find out more information on our University of Bath Learning Pathway, Arrange and run conference style events using Teams Live

Teams webinars

Teams webinars are starting to become available; find out how they could benefit you and your team, using the Arrange and run more controlled meetings using Teams Webinars.
