“That we have risen even further within the top ten and remain the best in the South West is down to the hard work, dedication and commitment of our very special staff and student community. My sincere congratulations to them.

“In line with our University strategy, we are committed to continuing to enhance our education, research and student experience, as well as focussing on excellent employability outcomes for our students.”

The main Complete University Guide table is based on ten measures: Entry Standards, Student Satisfaction, Research Quality, Research Intensity, Graduate Prospects – outcomes, Graduate Prospects – on track, Student-Staff Ratio, Spending on Academic Services, Spending on Student Facilities, and Completion. It includes 130 institutions.
