The annual Higher Expectations Survey asks over 10,000 current students from universities across the UK questions about their student experience.
When asked whether they were ‘impressed’ by their university’s Open Day, 64 per cent of Bath students said they ‘strongly agreed’.
That ranks Bath as equal first for its Open Day alongside Oxford University.
Professor Bernie Morley, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Learning & Teaching said: “This is a fantastic achievement and just reward for a true team effort.
“As we know Open Days are becoming increasingly important in terms of student recruitment and last year we welcomed record numbers of visitors to our campus in June and September.
“We had some excellent feedback following both events, and this survey backs that up with our current students saying our Open Days helped convince them to choose Bath.”
The Open Days in 2014 will be on:
- Thursday 19 June 2014
- Saturday 13 September 2014
Bookings for the talks and tours at the Open Day will open about six weeks before the Open Day.
