The Guardian University Guide ranks universities across eight measures to form an overall score out of 100. Among the measures considered are student feedback on teaching and results from the annual National Student Survey (NSS). The rankings also consider teaching resources, group sizes and the likelihood of students continuing on their course. A value-added measure is included to assess students' academic progress in relation to their entry grades.
The Guardian ranking follows a series of recent successes for Bath, including a rise to joint 125th in the QS World University Rankings 2027, underscoring the University's growing reputation both in the UK and internationally.
