This is what some of our lucky winners had to say:
Everyone at university has a unique experience, but the NSS gives us a chance to improve the university for future students, and for ourselves in future university years. What may take a few minutes to fill out may have a big positive impact in your university experience, so it's well worth the time. People always have opinions about how things should be done, and this is our chance to make them heard.
I complete unit evaluations in order for the lectures to reflect on pupils perspectives on their teaching; for example, what pupils thought worked well in the unit and what they did not enjoy as much. I think this is especially important for new units in the course or new unit convenors who would like student feedback in order to improve the unit for later years. Assessment is also a key part, with students reflecting on assessment methods throughout the unit and whether they believe their knowledge was assessed fairly.
The OUE's are important for the university and course to be as effective as possible for staff and students. I completed the OUE because I feel it is up to the students to shape their experiences, and to help staff understand how our experiences can be better, and what they have been doing well! OUE's are a student's way of critiquing and applauding their university and staff.
The University is committed to working with all students and their representatives to enhance learning, teaching and the student experience and PTES, NSS and Unit Evaluations are important ways we do this.
Complete a survey or evaluation
You can enter into a prize draw by completing a survey (Unit Evaluation, NSS, or PTES) to give feedback to the University. Find out below about prizes available for your year and level of survey.
Visit go.bath.ac.uk/haveyoursay to access the relevant survey for you. You will need your username and student number (9 digit code on your library card) to login and complete the survey (NSS and PTES. Unit Evluations are accessed via SAMIS or the link in Moodle). You must finish and submit the survey by midnight on the day the survey closes in order to be entered into the relevant prize draw.
This is your opportunity to tell us what you think the University does well, and what we could improve. Your responses will help us to improve learning and teaching, student services and our campus.
