The University is deeply saddened to announce the death of Adam Foulkes.
Adam was a final year student in the School of Management, studying BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance. He was also a member of the EY Assurance Scholarship programme, and was due to take up a role with EY following his graduation this summer. Beyond his studies, Adam was very involved with the Students’ Union RAG activities.
Dr Veronica Hope Hailey, University Vice President and Dean of the School of Management, said: "Members of the School remember Adam as extremely well-motivated, intelligent and personable – someone who was a pleasure to work with and who clearly had a bright future ahead of him. He is already greatly missed by both staff and students.”
We know that Adam’s death will affect his fellow students, colleagues, and friends and a range of support is available for our students and staff:
