Since 3 September 2024 the Dott shared e-scooters and e-bikes are now available across Bath and Bristol, replacing the previous TIER scheme.
The bike and scooter both come with a phone holder with built-in wireless charging, GPS tracking, and an integrated lock. You must be 18+ and have a full or provisional driving licence to use an e-scooter, and must be 16+ to use an e-bike.
You'll be able to rent the e-bikes and e-scooters through the Dott app, available on iOS and Android. You can only end your ride by leaving your bike or scooter in a parking bay, which are shown on the map in the app, and lock it.
For Pay-as-you-Go rides, University students and staff are eligible for a 35% discount through the Dott Scholars Scheme.
Dott also has a range of passes, including discounts for multiple rides in a day, unlimited free unlocks, and 30 days of unlimited rides at a reduced rate. Open the app to see full details of each pass.
