Cycling to campus is a great way to commute: it can help boost wellbeing, increase fitness, save money, and reduce environmental impacts. At Bath, many staff and students regularly cycle to campus each day. That's why we provide regular Dr Bike events, to support as many people as possible to swap to a cycle commute.
Frome Community Bike Project will be on campus throughout the academic year, providing free basic bike repairs and safety checks.
Next Dr Bike session
- Thursday 13 November 2025
- Located between 10E and the Arrivals Square, 9.30am to 4pm
Frome Bike Project mechanics will check your bike over, and make any minor adjustments such as tuning brakes and gears. They will be able to advise you if new parts or more extensive work are required.
Please note that this service is to support all students and staff, and capacity is limited. The mechanics run a first-come, first-served service, and slots are not bookable.
An active commute offers countless benefits, including boosting your wellbeing and reducing your environmental impact. Find out how the University supports active travel and how you can get started in wheeling to campus.
