Dr Randolf Cooper joins us on 5 December as the University’s interim Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Randolf has worked as a professional interim executive in numerous UK higher education institutions including the University of Plymouth, the University of Dundee and King’s College London, amongst others. These assignments have included leading campus infrastructure and digital services projects. His knowledge of operations management is underpinned by twenty-one years of experience in business and industry spanning England, Canada, and the USA.

As interim Chief Operating Officer (COO) Randolf will sit on University Executive Board, with responsibility for leading key corporate services and we look forward to welcoming him to campus.

Randolf holds a BA in History and an MA in South Asian Studies from the University of Toronto and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. He will have the benefit of a hand-over from the current COO Keith Zimmerman who has taken an executive role at King’s College London.
