Vasanta Subramanian, Reader in the Department of Biology & Biochemistry, is one of four finalists in the Science category of the Asian Women of Achievement Awards.

The Asian Women of Achievement Awards were founded in 1999 to celebrate multicultural Britain and the contribution of diverse cultures and talents to UK society.

Vasanta’s nomination for this highly competitive and wide-reaching award recognises her world-leading and impactful research in the field of Biology.

This year’s Asian Women of Achievement Awards ceremony will take place on Monday 28 September 2020.
