A huge thank you to everyone who has completed the latest Work and Wellbeing survey. Your continued engagement as we adjust to new ways of working, as well as new ways of interacting and communicating with one another is appreciated.

The University aims to continue to take steps to promote and support staff wellbeing, and to really listen and action the feedback you provide.

With this in mind, we have a new approach for our latest Work and Wellbeing survey. When completing it you will notice some familiar questions, as well as a few new ones. After we’ve collected the data, we will then use your feedback to develop departmental wellbeing action plans in line with the University’s mental health and wellbeing strategic framework.

Each Departmental Wellbeing Action Plan will enable us to identify what is working well and key areas where we can develop initiatives to support wellbeing.

The survey is just a starting point. After we have all the responses to the survey, we will arrange focus groups to explore the areas more fully and produce an action plan which reflects the current working situation.

It is completely anonymous and conducted in line with the Data Protection Act. Responses will be treated confidentially, and we will not look at the views of groups of less than 10, so no individual can be identified. 

If you have more than one role, please complete the survey for the role you spend most time in. If you wish to comment on your other role(s) please use the free text box at the end. There is also the opportunity to add your general comments at the end.
