The TEDxBath speakers' talks will explore a range of topics relevant to Bath University's course subjects, including topics of global food security, zero carbon housing design, sports psychology, clean energy technology, the orthodox church and its relationship with the LBGTQ+ community, dance and happiness, inclusion and access, and overcoming trauma.
The speakers will include 12 year-old ‘Boy in the Tent’ Max Woosey, Olympic gold medalist Amy Williams, and LGBTQ+ Activist and Eastern Orthodox Theologian Nik Jovčić-Sas.
The event will also have an electric atmosphere, thanks to the wide range of performers and activities that will run in tandem with the main talks. These include a 100-voice choir, a 25-piece reggae orchestra, and a female DJ/performer from Rotterdam.
