The local NHS service will be providing free Covid vaccinations on campus for UK and international students, and University staff, who aren’t already fully vaccinated.
First, second and booster doses of the vaccine will be available.
The vaccination clinic will be at the Sports Training Village, open from 11am to 5pm on each of these dates, with 15-minute appointment slots available.
The first three dates of the clinic are now available to book:
- Thursday 10 November
- Thursday 24 November
- Thursday 8 December
You'll find the vaccine clinic in a meeting room in the STV, overlooking the judo dojo. When you arrive for your appointment please register at the clinic reception, which will be on the main concourse above the gym; please follow the signs.
If you're no longer able to attend your appointment please cancel using the link in your booking confirmation email; the clinic can then offer your appointment to someone else.
Eligibility for vaccinations
You can have your first, second or booster dose of a vaccine at these appointments. If you need your second dose, your appointment must be at least eight weeks after you received your first dose. You're eligible for a seasonal (autumn) booster if you're aged 50 years or over, at high risk from COVID-19, are pregnant, or are a frontline health and social care worker.
You cannot have a Covid vaccination if you have had a positive result on a test or any Covid-19 symptoms in the last 28 days.
You must not attend the vaccination clinic if you currently have Covid-19 symptoms, or have been advised to isolate or quarantine.
You don’t need to be registered with a GP to receive a vaccination, but we recommend that you register as soon as possible. If you’re not yet registered when you attend your vaccination appointment, it will be quicker if you print this form and add your personal details, and bring it to the clinic.
