The Skills Centre's new GenAI and Digital Hub will be a space designed with students, not just for them, so we’re keen to hear your experiences to ensure it reflects real student needs rather than assumptions.

We’re inviting you to take part in shaping the Hub by sharing how you currently use GenAI and digital tools, the challenges you face, and the kind of support you would find most useful. Whether you use these tools regularly or are unsure where to start, your input will directly influence the resources, guidance and tools available.

How you can get involved

There are a number of ways that you can take part in developing the Hub:

  1. Complete the online survey. All students can take part in our online survey. As long as you are a current student studying at Bath, we want to hear from you! The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete, and all students who fill it in will be entered into a prize draw to win a £25 gift voucher. The survey is open now, and will close on 17 May 2026 so make sure you have your say before it closes.

  2. Take part in a Focus Group. We are running two focus groups, and would love you to join us:

Everyone who attends a Focus Group will receive a £10 gift voucher.

Do I have to do the survey and join a Focus Group?

No! If you only have time to complete the survey, that's great. We welcome responses from everybody so diverse voices can be reflected and the Hub can be inclusive and accessible.

If you would prefer to just join a Focus Group, and not complete the survey, that's also fine. Just make sure you book your place on the Focus Group you want to join, so that we know who to expect.

What happens next

By taking part in the survey and / or Focus Groups, you will be, helping create something practical, relevant, and genuinely useful for all students at Bath. We will use your feedback to build a Hub over the summer, ready for you to use next academic year.
