The University Library, in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences Research Office, the Research and Impact Services (RIS), and the policy database company Overton, has developed the Policy Impact Dashboard. The project is funded by the Research England Policy Support Fund (Ref. RE-P-2024-01) to enhance the visibility of Bath research in policy.

The dashboard highlights the reach and significance of University of Bath research by tracking where it is cited in policy documents worldwide. From shaping international guidelines to informing national strategies, it demonstrates how Bath research contributes to evidence-based policymaking and allows staff to explore the real-world impact of their work across sectors and geographies.

Powered by Overton, the world’s largest searchable policy database, and integrated with the University’s Pure CRIS system, the dashboard is updated regularly to provide researchers with reliable, up-to-date evidence of policy impact and opportunities for wider engagement.
