This Award is made in recognition of excellence in leadership in learning and teaching in the University.
Dr Ellis was recognised by the Committee for her role as an inspirational and transformational leader. Statements of support for her nomination paid tribute to the way she has ‘led from the front’ in her work as a vanguard of the Curriculum Transformation project. In this capacity, she championed its success and demonstrated what can be achieved.
Dr Ellis has demonstrated commitment and leadership qualities in representing the Faculty of Engineering and Design in boards, committees and groups, and in projects across the University.
