What Micro Internships offer

Each Micro Internship offers up to 35 hours of real project work, and provides you with the opportunity to:

  • get insight into day‑to‑day tasks like meetings, presentations, and problem‑solving
  • explore different sectors and roles without making a long-term commitment
  • develop your skills in key capabilities we know employers value, like communication, collaboration, and adaptability

All opportunities are paid at the National Living Wage and many have flexible working patterns.

Who can apply

All undergraduate and postgraduate students are welcome to apply. You must be eligible to work in the UK and complete a Right to Work check.

How to find opportunities

Micro Internships run during vacation periods and are advertised on MyFuture. All opportunities are open for applications from 23 March to 6 April, though some may close early if they receive a high volume of applications.

Search ‘Micro Internships’ on MyFuture to see what’s available.
