Eligible members of staff are invited to nominate themselves to join Senate. Nominations close Wednesday 5 March at 5pm.
Eligibility criteria
Both professorial and non-professorial academic staff members of the Academic Assembly are eligible to stand as candidates. In line with Ordinances 8.9 a and b, there must be two professorial and two non-professorial members from each Faculty/School, and so in this round at least one professor and two non-professorial members of academic staff will be required from the School of Management.
Call for nominations
Accordingly, nominations are invited for:
- Four Professors to serve on Senate. The vacancy for one member from the School of Management will be filled before the remaining three vacancies are filled by any candidate who has the most votes.
- Five non-professorial academic staff members of Academic Assembly to serve on Senate. Vacancies for two members from the School of Management will be filled before the remaining three vacancies are filled by any candidate who has the most votes.
All vacancies are for a term of three years, commencing on 1 August 2025.
Making a nomination
Nomination emails must include a 150-word statement that can be circulated with voting information should an election be required, along with the names of two supporters who are also members of Academic Assembly.
Nominations should be submitted to Senate-Elections@bath.ac.uk by 5pm on Wednesday 5 March 2025.
