Your results from the semester 1 assessments will be shared on Thursday 27 February, and you can read more about Understanding your results.
The Skills Centre has a range of resources that will guide you through the process of understanding your feedback and how to use the advice and information from your tutors. This includes:
- Feedback on your assignments: what it is and how to use it
- What does your feedback mean?
- Engaging with feedback
- Moving on from disappointing results
- Further advice and support if you want to talk to someone about your results
You can also attend workshops and including:
- Skills for Success workshop – Making the most of feedback: Wednesday 26 February
- Skills for Success workshop – Using peer reviewing to develop your academic practice: Wednesday 26 February
- Skills for Success tutorials (in person and online) – book a 25 minute 1:1 tutorial to discuss feedback and what it means, or review work you have completed as a result of feedback and ensure it takes into account the feedback you were given
- Skills for Success Email Feedback on Writing – submit a piece of written work and request feedback on it, or request that it is reviewed specifically in light of feedback that you’ve already received.
The Digital and Academic Skills (DAS) team in the Skills Centre is also keen to get your input on future sessions, and you’re invited to attend a focus group on 24, 27, or 28 February to share your feedback (with refreshments provided). The team would like to find out about your needs in developing Digital Skills, including what you know about the DAS team, which resources you’ve used, and which areas you’d like more help with.
