All staff and students are invited to a programme of events celebrating our international University.

Building on the success of last year’s One World Week, this year’s programme, commencing on Monday 18 November, includes events designed to celebrate our international University and promote intercultural exchange and understanding.

The week of events, led by the Skills Centre and the International Relations Office, with support from a wide range of University departments and the Students' Union, is the conclusion of the extended Welcome Weeks programme.

The varied programme provides staff and students with many different opportunities to discover the cultural richness of our University. Events include an international film screening, a workshop on internationalising the curriculum, dancing and music, opportunities to practise your foreign language skills, a Rangoli and Henna workshop, Origami workshops and opportunities to explore an international career.

On the Parade you will have the opportunity to try Taiwanese snacks and learn about Taiwanese culture with our Taiwanese student community on Monday, as well as the opportunity to buy sustainable and locally sources food on Thursday.

This event is part of Our World Programme and runs alongside the Global Citizenship Programme, a series of free lectures and events to understand global citizenship and reflect on its themes.
