Professor Cassie Wilson was appointed Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience) in August 2021 and currently focuses on student experience, engagement, wellbeing, and employability. She works in close collaboration with the Students' Union, Faculties, School, Professional Services and colleagues across our University community.

From July 2025, Cassie's title has been changed to Pro-Vice Chancellor (Student Experience and Sport) and covers a range of additional responsibilities, including:

  • Providing strategic academic leadership to ensure Bath is sector leading in all its sports-related endeavours

  • Ensuring the institutional strategic vision for sport supports, and is aligned with, the University’s strategic aims

  • Responsible for consolidating activities within the University of Bath that contribute to the strategic vision for sport

  • Responsible for strengthening and advancing the University’s status as a national and global leader in Sport

This change reflects the Vice-Chancellor's ambition to more closely align and embed the university's sporting reputation and success within our institution as a whole.
