As a Research Policy Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement research policies and procedures at institutional level.
- Provide clear guidance to researchers on external legislation affecting research (eg Human Tissue Act).
- Conduct in-depth analysis to inform evidence-based policy development.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders across the University to embed best practices.
- Lead communications strategies around research governance and integrity.
- Support training and engagement activities to ensure policy understanding and compliance.
This is an ideal role for someone with strong analytical skills, a keen understanding of research governance, and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
As a Research Systems Officer, you will:
- Support the development, maintenance, and optimisation of research management systems
- Ensure data quality and integrity across Ethics@Bath
- Provide user support, training, and guidance to staff
- Contribute to system improvements and digital innovation projects
