Bath Business Improvement District, Avon and Somerset Police and Bath & North East Somerset Council are working on a bid for funding from the Government's Safer Streets Fund. This fund aims to make public spaces safer for everyone by tackling neighbourhood crime, anti-social behaviour, and violence against women and girls.
Please take a few minutes to complete this survey on how safe you feel at night in Bath City Centre. The survey results will help strengthen the bid and, if successful, the funding will help with improvements to public spaces in the city centre.
The bid also plans to support initiatives such as the Safe Bus project, which will be staffed by volunteers, health workers and counsellors. This safe place in the city centre will provide drinks, advice and somewhere warm to wait for anyone, whether they're ill or injured, concerned for their safety, separated from their friends, or a victim of crime.
