Sensory Ruler

Sensory Ruler for Windows helps make reading on screen easier by highlighting lines of text with a customisable ruler and colour overlay. You can choose colours that work best for you, making it easier to concentrate and follow along line by line. It’s designed to support focus and reduce visual stress, especially if you are reading long documents or working across multiple screens.

Sensory Tint

Sensory Tint for Windows adds a gentle colour filter to your screen, which can help if you experience discomfort or difficulty with certain colours. It’s especially useful if you experience colour vision challenges or light sensitivity.

How to Access

The Software is available for students on Public Access Computers and can be installed on one-to-one managed devices for staff via Company Portal/Software Centre.

Screen Ruler Replacement

Sensory Ruler and Tint will be replacing Screen Ruler (part of ClaroRead Pro) on University owned devices and offer similar functionality and user experience.

As Screen Ruler is now discontinued, all users are encouraged to transition to Sensory Ruler and Tint for continued support.
