Short-term term-time accommodation options
Looking for a short term stay in University of Bath accommodation? We now offer short term lets for current students who need somewhere to stay during term time.
Whether you are between contracts, commuting and need to come to Bath for study or lectures, visiting for research, or just need a short break, you can apply to stay in university-managed accommodation. For more details, contact the ResLife team.
Who can apply
These stays are available to current University of Bath students only. This includes:
- Visiting PhD students
- Commuting students
- Students between housing contracts
- Students needing respite accommodation
Where you will stay
Short term accommodation available in:
Booking details
- Applications open from 1 November 2025
- Booking window closes on 4 December 2025
- Minimum stay: 5 nights
- Maximum stay: until 19 December
- Students needing to stay past 19th December will be directed to apply for existing rooms in undergraduate and postgraduate halls of residence for the remainder of the academic year.
- Semester 2 only contracts applications will open on the 1st December 2025 and have a separate application process to short term lets.

Payment and cancellation
- Payment is required in advance or through an agreed payment plan with the Accommodation Finance Team
- Cancellation and date change policy can be found on Casual Lets Terms and Conditions.
