The Culture & Inclusion Team is working on a Staff Experience Framework, which will define what staff can expect and what is expected of them as University of Bath staff, similar to the Student Experience Strategy. This framework will help the University to better support its diverse workforce throughout the entire staff lifecycle.
Project Aims
In February, we ran a series of focus groups to find out about the experience staff would like to have whilst working at the University, looking at some key elements of the staff journey, key themes such as community and culture and health and wellbeing and what staff feel are the most important elements of a positive staff experience.
Your input into the next stage of this project will help us to ensure that the designs and content we have created are fit for purpose and reflect the outcomes and priorities from the first set of focus groups. We want to ensure that the messaging resonates with our staff.
Following feedback from these focus groups, we will be confirming concept designs with our designer and beginning to create the accompanying booklet and webpage.
Key Information about the Sessions
To ensure a diversity of voices are involved in this project, we particularly welcome participation from staff within the following job families:
- Education and Research
- Operational and Facilities Support
During the focus groups, participants will be asked to discuss the Staff Experience Framework concepts and to write down their thoughts. Participants will then be asked to consider and reflect on the key things which have come up during the session. All feedback will be anonymised, and the sessions will not be recorded. Sessions will last for approximately 50 minutes.
