Given the unprecedented time we are currently going through, it is more important now than ever that we show our commitment to recognising the excellence that is delivered every day here at the University.
Therefore, we have taken the decision to extend the deadline for this year’s Staff Recognition Awards to Friday 5th June. This will hopefully not only allow more stars to shine, but also allow everyone time to understand the current situation. Please note that the Staff Recognition Evening will also be postponed until Autumn.
The nominations will remain open throughout this period so you can continue to nominate, and we will continue to deliver communications on the Awards.
The Staff Recognition Awards are dedicated to the Professional Services and Support Staff, both individuals and teams, whose work is integral to bringing our community together. As recognition for the excellent work they perform, these awards allow the University to formally acknowledge their hard work and dedication. In the past few weeks especially, Professional Services and Support Staff have worked tirelessly and reactively to ensure the University continues to run smoothly.
We are extremely thankful to all of you who have already nominated and would like to confirm that all nominations currently received are still valid and do not need to be re-submitted.
Please continue to value your colleagues work and nominate them for an award to show your appreciation.
