The Voi e-scooter safety event saw 48 people take part, complete with a traffic school session, road safety tips and the chance to demo an e-scooter.

33 people tried out the range of electric bikes on offer, from larger load-carrying cargo bikes to commuter-friendly foldable e-Bromptons.

Dr Bike’s cycle maintenance sessions were block booked out with 14 bikes checked over, tweaked and repaired, ready for the road.

John Davis, Electrical Supervisor, said: “I went with a colleague and we were really impressed, I’m going to trial one at some point as you can borrow 1 for 2 weeks from Take Charge Bikes with a deposit.”
