We enjoyed an afternoon of sunshine and smiles at our University staff, friends and family day. Thank you to everyone who came to campus as part of our 60th anniversary celebrations.

More than 1,000 current and former colleagues, their friends and family, and our closest neighbours visited the east of campus on Sunday 31 May. The University hosted activities, including taster sessions and games in the Sports Training Village, a funfair for all ages, an afternoon tea, and an exhibition celebrating 60 years of the University.

We had lovely comments from our guests, including praise for the excellent range of activities, and the variety of games and funfair rides . Our visitors also enjoyed the tasty afternoon tea, and complimented our friendly and helpful staff and student ambassadors.

If you attended the event and haven't yet shared your feedback, please add your comments to the feedback form.

We also asked visitors to share what they're grateful for, from the past 60 years of the University of Bath. They commented on our pioneering research, our beautiful campus, our strong placement opportunities for students, our outstanding sports facilities, and the amazing sense of community among our students and staff.

Our brilliant photographer was on campus throughout the event, and you can view the album of photographic highlights.
