Thanks to all members of our University community who attended the NHS Blood and Transplant donation session in The Edge building on campus. The appointments to donate blood were fully booked, with 105 donors.
Thanks too to all our colleagues in the Students' Union, Security, Campus Infrastructure, and Safety, Health & Employee Wellbeing, who helped to organise this first donation session. The feedback from the NHS team was that our staff have been brilliant.
We hope that this will be the start of regular donation sessions on campus for our students, staff, and local residents.
