The University's updated Academic Integrity Training and Test is now available for students and forms an important part of preparing them for their assessment success and progression on their course.
Updates include:
- Questions regarding the use of Generative AI in assessment have been adjusted slightly to reflect the Two-Lane Approach to GenAI in assessment that is being introduced for the 26/27 academic year.
- Some small modifications to some questions to improve inclusivity, accessibility or clarity.
- Minor changes to the language of some questions to align to QA53 and Regulations for Students 19
- In addition, there is some new guidance regarding “common knowledge” in the Referencing and Understanding Plagiarism training module
This year, staff are also invited to complete the test to experience the content and expectations from a student's perspective. Taking the test is a great way to understand the messages students receive, support conversations about academic integrity in your teaching, and identify opportunities for enhancement.
We also welcome your feedback to help us continue improving the resource and ensuring it meets the needs of both students and staff.
