The University of Bath is celebrating national recognition after multiple initiatives were shortlisted for the Graduate Futures Awards 2026, the sector’s flagship awards recognising excellence in careers and employability across higher education.
With a record number of nominations received, all of an exceptionally high standard, being shortlisted is a significant achievement. Congratulations to all colleagues involved in these outstanding initiatives.
Bath Insights recognised for inclusivity and opportunity
The Bath Insights Internship Programme has been shortlisted for the Inclusivity and Opportunity Award 2026.
Bath Insights provides first- and second-year students with the opportunity to gain meaningful, paid work experience in a supportive on-campus environment, helping them develop valuable skills and confidence through real projects. This shortlisting recognises the programme’s commitment to widening access to opportunities and supporting student success.
Celebrating success across our community
In addition to Bath Insights, two further University of Bath initiatives have also been shortlisted:
- Sustainability Consulting Project in the Sustainable Careers category. Huge congratulations to the MSc Careers Team in the School of Management for this fantastic achievement
- The Bath Award in the Enabling Excellence category
Together, these nominations highlight the breadth of innovative and impactful employability work taking place across the University, from co-curricular recognition to discipline-led careers education.
