The University will be opening its doors to prospective students and their families between 9.30am and 4pm at its Claverton campus.

Open Days provide prospective students and their families with an invaluable opportunity to visit the University and the city of Bath to help them decide where they want to live and study.

A reputation for world-leading research and excellent teaching – as recognised by the University’s Gold Award in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) – the University of Bath continues to attract some of the country's most talented students to Bath, helping to put the city on the world stage as a global leader in education and research.

Visitors are encouraged to visit the city itself as part of the Open Day and many stay overnight and enjoy experiencing many of Bath’s bars, eateries and tourist attractions.

The University recognises Open Day events bring considerable additional numbers of people to the area and works hard to ensure any potential traffic disruption is mitigated. Visitors are encouraged to travel to Bath by public transport where possible or to use the Lansdown Park and Ride facilities where extra bus services have been arranged.

The University also works closely with Bath & North East Somerset Council and others to ensure its September Open Day does not clash with any other major events taking place in the city.
