The annual AV Awards recognise outstanding achievements of individuals, companies, projects and technology across the AV, events and production sectors.

Together with Pure AV, the Learning & Events Technology Team (LET) has been shortlisted for this year’s ‘Education Project of the Year’ award as one of just eight finalists worldwide.

The School of Management building embeds the latest technology into learning, research and social environments to create a centralised hub for teaching and research and a platform for forming links to industry and employers.

The key themes woven into the building design are flexibility, transparency and collaboration. Pure AV and the University’s LET Team worked together to design and deliver audio visual facilities to support those principles with a focus on creating a consistent and straightforward user experience, easy room management and, as a result, establishing a set of standards for future developments.

Rob Hyde, Principal Service Manager (Learning & Events Technology) said:

We are delighted to be shortlisted. The School of Management is a flagship building for the University and a space that brings together the Faculty community and sets a new standard for technology that we will use in the future.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 1 November.
