Meet our International Ambassadors

Prospective students can speak to graduates from around the world about what it's like to study at the University of Bath.

The International Ambassador programme gives overseas offer-holders the opportunity to connect with graduates from their home country to talk about their experience of living and learning at the University of Bath.

International students holding an offer to study a postgraduate taught course can use Bath Connection to search for graduates by:

  • country
  • course studied
  • subsequent career path.

They can access Bath Connection through Applicant Tracker.

All of our International Ambassadors are volunteers and are keen to share the value of their experience at Bath and inspire the next generation of students. There are more than 250 Ambassadors from all around the world, but here are just a few of them.

Preet

Preet is from India and graduated with an MSc in Marketing in 2013.

Preet

Hi, I am Preet Sanghvi from India. I am currently working in the hospitality marketing industry.

I decided to study MSc Marketing from the University of Bath in 2012 to further specialise my business marketing skills. This has by far been my best experience both academic and extracurricular-wise, as I learned so much from Bath’s experienced faculty and also had the opportunity to get involved in the various activities that the University has to offer. It helped me become very sociable, independent and enabled me to network with people from different walks of life.

The city of Bath has a lot to offer in terms of food, culture, travel and heritage! It was home away from home for me. My time there helped me develop my communication, entrepreneurial and leadership skills, and I take this experience with me everywhere and can vouch for this University as one of the best for student experience.

I would like to help prospective students with decisions regarding course, extracurricular activities, things to do – students who want to learn and also come to this University for the experience.

Hello! I’m Allen (Lishuai) Chen from Fujian Province, China.

I always knew the University of Bath was my top choice because of its outstanding teaching faculties, and historic city – an extraordinary place to support my intellectual growth and career development.

At Bath everyone has such charm and hospitality, diversity of experience and a global perspective, and I have since worked for the best financial companies in New York, USA and Beijing, China!

I will always have a deep lifelong connection to Bath. I have already mentored several students and alumni and I am more than happy to talk to you.

Ivan

Ivan is from Mexico but lives in France. He graduated from Bath in 2016 with an MBA in Business Administration.

Hello, I'm Ivan, a finance professional living and working in France, but from Mexico.

I decided to do my MBA because I wanted to refresh my management perspective whilst surrounded by people with experience of different back grounds and cultures. The result? An expansion of my business and life perspectives.

If you want to pursue an international career, develop multicultural awareness and have one of the most exciting years of your life, then you should come to Bath.

I'm happy to talk to you about the MBA course versus a Masters programme, as well as working abroad, living in Bath, whether it is a good match for you and how you can make the most of the experience.
