Moving On After Trauma

If you've been traumatised, we may suggest you take part in our Moving On After Trauma course

Moving On After Trauma is our six-week course for students who are suffering from the effects of trauma.

With guidance from two experienced therapists from Student Support, you'll learn about the impact of trauma on the brain and body. This will help you make sense of some of the difficulties you're experiencing.

You'll then get to try out practical, evidence-based techniques to manage your emotions, improve your sleep and reduce the other signs and symptoms of trauma. You'll also explore a wide range of general tools for self-care.

By the end of the course, you'll feel more emotionally stable so you can get on with your life.

After taking part in the course, we may suggest you go on to one-to-one therapy to help you more directly address your traumatising experiences.
