People with Personal or Lived Experience (PPE)
The Doctor of Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) programme at Bath welcomes PPE to support research, teaching, interviews and committees.
People with Personal Experience (PPE) make an active contribution to the programme across placement, teaching and research. We are open and welcoming to people with lived experience of mental health issues who wish to become members of our PPE network. PPE can volunteer to participate in a range of paid activities including:
- helping staff and trainees with their research
- interviewing people who wish to train to be clinical psychologists
- co-teaching (in-person or online) about mental health and therapy with academic staff or clinical psychologists in the region
- acting as members of committees including programme admissions, curriculum and research, and placements
