R7 Student Accommodation project

Your views are sought on the proposed R7 Student Accommodation project on our Claverton Down Campus, as the University completes a pre-application process ahead of a full planning application later this year.

Until midnight on 15 May you can provide your thoughts on the proposals using our online feedback form after seeing the latest information on the proposed designs

Two in-person public consultation events will also be held in Bath on 29 and 30 April 2025 where visitors will be able to see drawings and artist’s impressions of the eight-building project and associated works as well as discuss aspects of the plans with members of the project team.

One session will be held between 3-7pm on Tuesday 29 April at the Innovation Centre, Carpenter House, Broad Quay Bath BA1 1UD.

The second will take place 3-7pm on Wednesday 30 April in the foyer of the University of Bath Sports Training Village, Claverton Down Campus, BA2 7AY.

The University’s Masterplan, which was carefully developed with a wide range of stakeholders, and agreed with Bath & North East Somerset Council in 2021, includes plans for increased provision of on-campus student accommodation to the east of the campus site.
