Aims: This unit will engage you in open research and enable you to plan, control and complete an experimental or theoretical/computational project using academic research facilities.

Content:
* Formulate a hypothesis for the research project
* Literature review
* Research work; may be wet lab, desk-based or in silico depending on project.
* Data analysis.
