Programme progression requirement:
Students may only progress to the research stage upon satisfactory completion of the taught component of the programme - this is defined as:

- Having passed four units, including the two core policy analysis units
- and with at least two units with a grade of 60% or higher.

The taught stage comprises either 72 or 90 credits (depending on whether the student only needs to take 4 units or whether they need to take a fifth unit to meet the progression requirements).
The research stage comprises 198 credits.%
