Architecture

Undergraduate courses starting in 2020

Architecture is the practice of designing buildings, places and spaces. Architects use science, art and technology to create the built environment.

Contemporary architecture seeks to integrate environmental and sustainable design principles with advanced technologies to produce innovative and beautiful buildings. Unlike many universities, we combine periods of professional work experience within our courses. This gives you the opportunity to benefit from a combination of academic and practical study. Throughout the course, through complex design challenges, you'll develop your design skills and learn how cultural, historical and socio-economic factors inform design decisions.
